Announcements : Opportunity for a Seconded National Expert (SNE) extended deadline
Tuesday, 13 September 2016 14:24

The deadline for the position of Seconded National Expert, contributing to the ECCAIRS activity, has been extended to 26 September 2016. We recommend those interested to contact their Member State's Permanent Representation (follow the link and look under How to participate?). Note that not all Representations publish all open positions; should this be the case you can contact the Representation and ask them to provide the details for applying to the position.

The selected candidate will participate in the further development, deployment, distribution, support and training activities of the ECCAIRS Reporting System and related tools by providing specific competence in the area of aviation safety which will be essential for the correct development of efficient user-interfaces and analysis methodologies. At the same time participation in the ECCAIRS development will ensure that the SNE will obtain a detailed insight in the ins and outs of the system. This will enable the SNE to support Member States authorities and International Organisations in using ECCAIRS, for example by creating customized taxonomy extensions and user-interfaces, by extending the system using the ECCAIRS application programming interfaces or by applying data-extraction, -warehousing and -analysis techniques.
