Announcements : New functional mailbox for DINER issues
Thursday, 30 August 2018

In order to better organise support on the DINER Data Integration Network, organisations implementing and running this system can send enquiries and requests for information to a new and dedicated functional mailbox (FMB) named "JRC ECCAIRS DINER" with the address "jrc-eccairs-diner[replace with the at-sign]ec.europa.eu".

The FMB is monitored by many staff at the JRC and assures that messages are processed in a timely manner, which may not be the case when sent instead to one's personal mailbox.

Organisations are kindly asked to update their bookmarks.

Software releases : Fix for ECCAIRS 5 Web API Windows service after applying HF14 or HF16
Friday, 10 August 2018

After applying ECCAIRS 5 Common Framework Hotfix 5.5.1.14 or Hotfix 5.5.1.16, the "ECCAIRS 5 Web API Host Service" Windows service is remapped in the Windows registry to a different component which is unable to provide the required functionality. The only affected system is the ECCAIRS Repository Server. ECCAIRS Client systems are not affected.

The attached file includes a Windows batch script that must be executed in a Windows Command session ("CMD.EXE") started with elevated privileges (e.g. "Run As Administrator"). This script restores the correct mapping. To be performed on the ECCAIRS Repository Server only, after the installation of Hotfix 5.5.1.14 or Hotfix 5.5.1.16.
